“If I were going on a date would I do this?” His voice was tight, the muscles in his neck taut, straining against his still damp skin. The scent of the homeowner’s lemon soap drifted in the air reminding her of the impropriety of what they were about to do.
Before she could utter a half-hearted protest, his mouth descended on hers. Sparks of delight shot out from her center and radiated throughout her body like a Macy’s Fourth of July display.
That’s all I can say…what a great story and great characters! Right from the very beginning of the story, you’ll fall in love with these two.
Victoria has a interior design show on TV. Her regular co-host is off for a couple of weeks, and filling in for him is Aussie born Russ. She is mighty but petite, standing in at 5’2″…but she has a strong flair for design and it shows in her designs. Russ is muscular, standing in at 6’2″…and he’s saucy and flirty and wants one thing–Victoria.
As much as Victoria might not want to admit it, sparks fly between these two right from the very beginning. From the quick banter back and forth, to the hot gazes that the two exchange, you know you’re in for one hell of a great read…oh, and did I mention, HOT!
One thing about Russ, though…he holds a secret that might make straight-laced Victoria run in the other direction–he’s a male dancer, dancing for money at a nearby club. He swears that he saw one of Victoria’s clients at the club the other night. Could this second job cause problems for Victoria? What will become of their relationship? Do they have a relationship? You’ll have to read this one to find out…and I definitely recommend it!!
The humour in this book is delightful and fresh. I think I laughed on every single page of this book. From the way they interact with each other, to the way they look at each other (and sometimes deny themselves that pleasure), you can see/feel the sexual tension on almost every page as well. It was hot, sexy and a total pleasure to read. I know I will enjoy reading more from this author.
