Jenna closed her notebook, memorizing the statement Heloise had discussed during the class period, hoping she could boot the comment from her brain the next time Zack West decided to kiss her senseless.
Jenna Bennett is watching her friends find love, have babies and more importantly, find the lucky men to live their lives with. Jenna just hasn’t been lucky in love. She’s 27 and she feels her biological clock ticking like a time bomb, yet there just never seems to be the right guy around to sweep her off her feet…or at least to make her feel like there’s a chance for love. Jenna is smart, a successful lingerie shop owner and beautiful. So, why can’t she find love? She decides to take a “Husband Hunting” class to try to find someone that will love her…hearing aid and all.
Zack West is a guy with commitment issues. He blames his father who keeps getting married/divorced before the ink is even dry. He’s all for relationships…as long as they are non-commital. Zack is an ad designer and he needs more clients to help his business grow.
When Zack decides to take on Jenna as a client, that’s all he had in mind–then he saw her and the old feelings he felt for her when he saw her at his brother’s wedding come back–with a vengence. He can’t stop thinking about her, wanting her, needing her. Yet, there was those commitment issues rising up in the background, making him remember why he has never found true love.
Will Zack ever be able to get over being a commitaphobic? Or will he be too late when Jenna finds herself a husband at her Husband Hunting class?
This was such a great little book. I found myself wanting/needing to know what was going to happen next. The sexual tension in this book was top-notch and left me in love with the characters. I would definitely recommend this book for its beautifully created love scenes, sexual tension and definitely for its humour.
I give this book 5 stars!
